Dr. Jody Stanislaw has held 3-day, Type 1 Diabetes retreats in gorgeous Sun Valley, Idaho (in 2017, 2018, 2019). Due to Covid, there was not a retreat in 2020 nor 2021. But the good news is, we are hoping to have a 2022 retreat in Hawaii! To get updates, fill out the sign-up box on the home page of www.DrJodyND.com

Participants enjoy gorgeous hikes and walks, healthy and delicious blood sugar friendly food all throughout, and inspirational and educational discussions on how to live a happy and healthy life with type 1. Participants get to enjoy all of this amongst a group of fun and positive-minded people who really get what it takes to live with T1D.

These events are for adults with Type 1, mature youth with Type 1, and friends or family or anyone else interested in learning more about life with type 1 diabetes.

The entire event is hosted by me, Dr. Jody Stanislaw. I am a Naturopathic Doctor, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, and I myself have lived with T1D since the age seven. I will share my secrets with you as to how I’ve kept my A1c between 5.5% — 6.2% for the past 10 years.

Throughout the event, you will learn life-changing tips on how to achieve excellent blood sugar control, especially during exercise. You’ll put diabetes burnout behind you as your return home feeling empowered and inspired!
